Kodak Black Wanted To Audition For Disney’s ‘Shake It Up’ To ‘Push Up On Zendaya’

Exclusive –

Kodak Black has come clean about why he really wanted to land one particular Disney audition back when he hadn’t yet kickstarted his rap career.

On Saturday (October 28), HipHopDX caught up with the Florida native at One Music Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. During the brief chat, he set the record straight regarding a viral clip in which a juvenile Kodak claimed to be on his way to a Nickelodeon audition.

When asked which show he was trying to work on all those years ago, the 26-year-old clarified that he never actually got to try out for the children’s network.

“I never did [audition for Nick],” he admitted. “I wanted to audition for Shake It Up so I could push up on Zendaya.”

The viral video referenced above, which began making the rounds online earlier this year, shows a young Kodak Black claiming that he was on his way to an acting audition. While it’s unknown when the video was taped, fans speculated it may have been recorded during the mid-2000s.

“Yeah, auditioning with Nickelodeon ’cause you know a new show coming out, feel me,” he said confidently. “Just, just stay tuned. I’m gon’ be on there. I know how to act.”

Based on the above admission, it seems like he never got to shoot his shot at acting or the Euphoria actor he was so infatuated with. He has, however, become better at taking his chances with women since then. Most recently, he outright told Tiffany Haddish that they should pair up to make an OnlyFans video.

The conversation went down in an Instagram Live earlier this week, during which Yak attempted to quell rumors that he needs help after his recent Drink Champs interview sparked concerns. When the comedian joined the stream, Kodak switched gears and suggested they get together and record adult content.

“Uh, nope, we not doing that,” she replied. “First of all, I’m too old for that shit. Second of all, you know I got box office movies. I don’t need to go on an OnlyFans, okay?”

He then pivoted and asked for a movie cameo, but Haddish instead got him to agree to make a song together. She has plans to be in his home state of Florida next month for a court date, so they decided to hop inside the studio together then.
